“Message in a Bottle” is a piece about holding on and letting go — about the quiet ache of sending something precious into the world and trusting the tide to carry it where it’s meant to go. It was created in a moment of reflection, when words were too heavy to speak and only art could hold their weight.
The shoreline is sculpted with real sand gathered by hand, where small shells and bits of driftwood rest as if left behind by the sea itself. Dried flowers are tucked gently into the sand — symbols of memories that endure even after the storms have passed. A thin cellophane layer lies beneath the resin, catching the light like sunlight dancing beneath shallow waves, creating a luminous illusion that shifts as you move, as if the water itself is breathing.
